The referral and application forms have been revised to be “phone friendly” to ease the application process. The class supported the project for several years but with the addition of more apartments the project grew beyond the class’s ability to manage. A Board of Directors was appointed to Oversee Ark House operations. AMENITIES and COMMON AREAS
During our nearly 38 year history, we have welcomed clientele from many distant locales including multiple foreign countries and numerous states outside of Texas, in addition to many patients from all parts of Texas. We charge a nominal daily fee for the apartment to provide an affordable option for our clients who are from the lower income bracket. Operating expense are approximately $40.00 a day per apartment so additional operating funds are needed to cover the differential and to maintain the affordable rent.

The Occupancy Agreements may be extended at Ark House discretion based on re-certification of medical need, timely payment of rent, and appropriate occupant behavior. As these apartments are not intended as a permanent residence, extension beyond 360 days is rare.

Ark Survival Evolved - House Build - Rustic Modern Mansion

Ark may be known for its bad neighbours, but like most online games there are a number of positive communities blossoming around its features. It demonstrates the power of collaboration and the desire to play beyond the developer’s intended experience. His medieval church build is a great example of this process. It’s arguably his most complex project, as it uses a number of different techniques that the community has discovered over the years.
Like Longstaff, he stresses the importance of workarounds not intended by the development team when it comes to making the larger builds possible, pointing specifically to the circle build trick as a particular breakthrough in the community. Operating funds to cover the spread between the daily resident charge and the daily cost to furnish and maintain the apartments centrally located to the major hospitals in Dallas. All funds raised go to Ark House operations to maintain a safe, quality environment. If you wish to contact other Ark House residents in the apartment complex, Ark House apartments can be recognized by the combination locks on the apartment door. This might be helpful in case of minor issues or if you wish to visit with another resident; for example–exchanging information on how to get around the city or locating a store near the apartment or hospital. To help provide a safe environment and to assure that only Bellmar East & Ark House residents are using the amenities, residents must have their Bellmar ID wrist band with them when using the amenities or when they are in the common areas.
The patient or their representative should have been or will be contacted by an Ark House representative to coordinate the application process. What is most remarkable about these builds isn’t necessarily the level of detail or the time taken to get everything perfect. It’s how completely out of place many of these builds are within the game’s stone age aesthetic. Studio Wildcard never expected players to build structures and buildings to this size and scale, yet the community are collaborating and sharing knowledge to push the mechanics and attempt ever more outlandish concepts.
The mission of Ark House is to provide low-cost temporary housing for out of town patients and their families while undergoing extended medical treatment in the Dallas area. Ark House began in 1985 as a project of the Ark Sunday School Class of First United Methodist Church Richardson. One of their class members, Ben Glomb, required extended cancer treatment at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston and his family found few options available for affordable housing. Ben and his wife suggested a Sunday School Class project might be to begin an apartment ministry to serve people coming to Dallas hospitals for medical treatment. Regrettably, Ben passed away before seeing the project implemented, but as a memorial to him, Ark House was created.
Referrals may ONLY be submitted by a medical facility staff member with direct knowledge of the patient and/or family members being referred to Ark House. The application process will not be initiated the without an appropriate referral. The first Ark House apartment, located near Baylor Hospital, was rented and furnished by members of the Ark Sunday School Class.
We will not take a particular dwelling off the market until we receive a completed Application and any other required information or monies to rent that dwelling. A member of your family or a friend has been referred to Ark House by a medical facility providing treatment. This application is required to start the process of qualification for Ark House.
